Borough of Franklin Park

Blueberry Hill Park
87 acre park nestled in the heart of the borough off of Nicholson Road. Activity Center, baseball and softball fields, sand volleyball courts, playgrounds located in the park and historic log house located by the lower meadow area.

Linbrook Park
An 80 acre park located in the western part of Franklin Park Borough off of Big Sewickley Creek Road. This park is often referred to as one of Franklin Park’s well kept secrets. This park hosts four ball fields, a soccer field, a lacrosse field, two playgrounds, two picnic shelters, an obstacle course, hiking trails, and a beautiful stream. Our two picnic shelters are available for rent at a reasonable cost. If you like more of a natural park this is a great place to visit since most of the park is not developed.

Acorn Park
A 25 acre park located off of McGee Road, most of this park is a natural area having been untouched for over 100 years. Hiking, equestrian, and mountain bike trails traverse most of this park allowing park users to access all areas of the park. The entrance area of the park provides a deck hockey area, a unique playground, and picnic tables.

Old Orchard Park
A 16 acre neighborhood park located in the southeastern part of Franklin Park Borough off of Rochester Road. This park is currently under development with a one mile walking trail and proposed features to include: multi-purpose field, tennis court, volleyball court, playground, and a small pavilion.

Baierl Family YMCA
Franklin Park’s newest YMCA Facility featuring indoor and outdoor pools, a state-of-the-art health and wellness center, group exercise studio, climbing wall, five locker rooms, a gymnasium, a running/walking track, and a Child Watch Center

Fox Chapel Borough

Beechwood Farms Nature Preserve
Located in the borough of Fox Chapel, Beechwood Farms Nature Reserve headquarters the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania, featuring five miles of trails, 134 acres of sanctuary, Educational Classrooms, Audubon Nature Store, Teacher Resource Center, Natural History Library, Evans Nature Center auditorium, Audubon Center for Native Plants and Outdoor Discovery field trip programs for school children

Trillium Trail
The most famous of our various park areas is the one known as the Trillium Trail. It is here that every spring hundreds of thousands of trilliums used to cover the ground like a blanket of snow

Riding Meadow Park
For those who want to enjoy a pleasant walk, who want to bird or just sit and enjoy nature. Dog walkers are also reminded that PA Law requires that dogs be “under control” at all times

Hampton Community Park
Located on McCully Road in Allison Park, Pa, this 195 acre facility includes everything from picnic pavilions to playgrounds and tennis courts, street hockey courts, basketball courts, baseball fields and soccer fields to trails and an outdoor pool complex.

An Allegheny County Park set on 629 scenic acres featuring one of the most spectacular country estates in the region consisting of a stately Tudor Mansion, cottage, stable complex and gate lodge, formal gardens, hiking, horseback riding, wooded trails, cross country skiing, Mansion, farm and stable Tours and famous in the North Hills of Pittsburgh for its Outdoor Summer Concert Series

O'Hara Township

Squaw Valley Park
The Township's most popular park featuring a fishing pond, two picnic shelters with electric & water, restrooms, two ballfields, two tennis courts, a playground, hiking trails & the Gazebo. Squaw Valley is located along Fox Chapel Road, between the O'Hara Township Municipal Building and Delafield Road

Meadow Park
The Township's largest developed park encompassing over 24 acres. Meadow offers a picnic shelter with electric & water, restrooms, ball fields, a tennis court, & more. Meadow is located off Kittanning Pike at Harding Road on Meadow Park Lane

Woodland Park
Offers visitors a picnic shelter, ballfield, and playground. Woodland is located off Dorseyville Road on Villa Drive.

Kensington Park
Features a ballfield, playground and basketball court. Kensington is located in Montrose Hill at the corner of Central Avenue and Watson Avenue.

Marshall Township

Knob Hill Park
Located in Marshall Township, Knob Hill Park a 116 acre facility featuring pavilions, the Elias Fry Barn, a baseball field, soccer, the Whitey Soergel little and pony league fields, a sand volleyball court, sledding hills, horseshoe pits, the Sean DeArment Nature Trail, the Country Castle Playground, an 18 hole disk golf course and a trail system

Warrendale Park
Located off Mt. Pleasant Road on 8 acres in Warrendale, Warrendale Park includes the Floyd Davison Memorial baseball field, a lighted basketball court, the Bullpen pavilion with fireplace, horseshoe pits, a tot lot, and lighted public tennis courts

Sean Department Nature Trail & Thorn Hill Trail
Begins on Knob Road directly opposite the Whitey Soergel Field entrance of Knob Hill Park. Its crushed limestone surface is suitable for walking, biking, or cross country skiing. The trail is approximately 2.0 miles in length.

Located near Bakerstown that can be reached from Circle Drive or Van Velsor Drive, this 80 Acre Community Park serves as the home field for the Pine-Richland Athletic Association’s baseball/softball program, the Pine-Richland Soccer League and the Keystone Rams Youth Football League. The park also offers picnic pavilions, playground equipment, a basketball court, hiking trails, and a sand volleyball court.
